Herman Zieglaar, Chairman 
Herman Zieglaar has held numerous senior financial, management and consultancy positions in England, Mauritius and Sri Lanka. He spent 13 years at INMARSAT, the International Mobile Satellite Organization, where he was responsible for financial control and subsequently business planning and development for the organization's Aeronautical Services Division. He was also Head of Finance and later the Chief Executive of Mauritius Telecom. More recently, he was Chief Executive Officer of Celltel Lanka. Mr. Zieglaar is an ACMA.

Tony Weeresinghe, Chief Executive Officer (Managing Director)  
Tony Weeresinghe is widely known and respected in the Sri Lankan business community as an ‘ideas man’ with the capability and drive to turn his visions into profitable reality. Before founding MillenniumIT®, he was Head of the Open Systems Division of ComputerLand in Sri Lanka. Earlier, as Country Manager for Oracle, he was instrumental in the product's successful launch in the Sri Lankan market. Mr. Weeresinghe is a member of the British Computer Society and the Institute of Data Processing Management.

Dr. Anush Amarasinghe, Chief Operating Officer (Executive Director) 
Prior to joining MillenniumIT®, Anush Amarasinghe worked for SG Securities as an investment banker. Earlier, he worked in marketing and in engineering development for Thorn EMI and GEC-Alsthom in the UK. Dr. Amarasinghe received his Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Loughborough University of Technology, UK.

Ajith Samaranayake, Chief Scientist (Executive Director)
Ajit Samaranayake is the Chief Scientist at MillenniumIT®. He has considerable experience in developing and deploying depository and trading systems for capital markets and in service billing systems. Before joining MillenniumIT®, he worked at General Electric in the UK. Mr. Samaranayake has a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering and a M.Sc. in Optical Communications from the University of Glasgow, UK.

Nissanka Weerasekera, Non-Executive Director 
Nissanka Weerasekera is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK and has a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Peradeniya and a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. He has played a key role in the development of the Venture Capital industry in Sri Lanka. He was the Chief Executive Officer of People's Venture Investment Company (PVIC) from 1995 to early 2001 and Managing Director of Nextventures, which took over the management of PVIC from March 2001 to September 2001. He joined Ayojana Fund Management (AFM) in September 2003 as Managing Partner Designate for the Aureos South Asia Fund. Aureos Capital, based in London, is the holding company of AFM.

Jayanta Kumar Basu, Non-Executive Director 
Jayanta Basu is a Vice-President at Citibank Venture Capital India, which manages a $100 million portfolio of Citigroup’s own investments in the software, technology and Internet industries in South Asia. Mr. Basu has over ten years of corporate and investment banking experience and has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Ramesh Shafter, Non-Executive Director 
Mr. Ramesh Schaffter is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He has been associated with Janashakthi Insurance since its inception and has served as the Secretary to the Board since 1994. With over 15 years of finance and marketing experience, Mr Ramesh Schaffter serves on the Board of several group companies including Kotmale Holdings Ltd., People's Venture Investment Company Ltd. and Millennium Information Technologies Ltd.
